It seems just like yesterday that
Bizarre Promotions, Inc. came to life - 2007 marks our 18th Year
In Business. It has been an amazing roller coaster ride.
Even though we are over the so called "5 Year Hump" that many
businesses don't overcome, I still wonder and worry every year if we
will make it through another year.
Why are we still here after 18
years? - I'd like to think our great customer service is
the major reason followed by quality products and some of the
best priced promotional products in the industry.
All that said our longevity is really
based on our customers. Repeat business and referrals are
really the basis for our survival, in an industry with over 18,000
distributors like us nationwide. Looking through our sales
figures we have retained customers for 8, 10 and even 12 years -
sure the three key ingredients (Service, Quality, Price) keeps them
coming back year after year.
So to thank all our current customers
and build new customer relationships we are offering 18% Off our
entire line of over 750,000 Promotional Items and Corporate
Gifts.

Cube-Pad™ - 30227
A fast-food establishment purchased 5,000 of the 30227 Cube-Pads
printed on all four sides and their logo printed on every sheet of
the cube.
They handed out these bright, colorful, and fun cubes to all their
customers and some even requested more. The customers took these
Cube-Pads home with them and used the paper over a long period of
time the Cube Pads are 3-1/2"w x 3-1/2"h x 3-1/2"d, approx. 700

Cold Calling Techniques-5 Tips For More
Appointments!
by Chris Sitnson
Good cold calling techniques can make a difference in whether you
schedule a lot of appointments or make a sale or whether you spent a
lot of time making cold calls without any results. Cold calling
techniques are used by many of the pros and should be learned by
anybody who is new to sales or would like to improve their
conversion rate over the phone.
There are several tips you can follow that will help you with your
cold calling technique and speaking with sales prospects. We'll take
a look at five tips you should keep in mind that will help you with
your cold calling techniques.
1. Cold Calling Techniques-Eliminate Crutch Words
Crutch words are words that people use to fill space and they make
you sound unprepared and unconfident. Words such as basically, well,
actually, uh, or um are just some examples of crutch words that
people use. Try to eliminate these types of words for your
vocabulary when cold calling.
2. Cold Calling Techniques-Don't Give Them an Escape Route
When you contact somebody on the phone do not ask them questions
like it is a good time or do you have a couple of minutes? This just
gives them an opportunity to tell you to call back later and more
than likely they will not be available the next time you call. A lot
of people say that this is a sign of courtesy and your show respect
for their time but your time is also valuable and if they are not
interested in what you are offering it is better to know a front.
3. Cold Calling Techniques-Maintain an Upright Position
When your posture is slouching you give off an impression that you
are tired and you are really bored with what you are doing. You may
not hear it in your own voice but other people will and why would
they want to be with somebody who is bored and tired?
4. Cold Calling Techniques-Prepare Yourself for Rejection
Cold calling is a tough business and you are bound to get a lot of
no thanks, I'm busy right now, and call back later. Prepare yourself
for the fact that you will be getting a lot or rejection when you
are cold calling and that this rejection is a normal part of the
process
5. Cold Calling Techniques-Give Them a Call To Action
When you are doing business-to-business marketing or
person-to-person marketing always end your phone call with a call to
action. It does not matter if a phone call has gone bad you have
nothing to lose by asking for the appointment or asking for the
sale.
Take these five cold calling techniques and use them the next time
you decide to cold call, they will help you improve your conversion
rate and they will give you more energy to continue the calls.

More people are killed by donkeys annually than are killed in plane
crashes.
Lorne Greene had one of his nipples bitten off by an alligator while
he was host of "Lorne Greene's Animal Kingdom".
The dot that appears over the letter "i" is called a tittle.
All major league baseball umpires must wear black underwear while on
the job (in case their pants split).
The Spanish word esposa means "wife." The plural, esposas, means
"wives," but also "handcuffs."
If all Americans used one third less ice in their drinks the United
States would become a net exporter instead of an importer of energy.
If the Nile River were stretched across the United States, it would
run nearly from New York to Los Angeles.
San Francisco cable cars are the only National Monuments that move.
The Hoover Dam was built to last 2,000 years. Its concrete will not
be fully cured for another 500 years.
Abraham Lincoln's dog, Fido, was assassinated too.
